Fruit Lax – A Complete Shelf Stable Product
1 - IS THE PRODUCT SAFE TO TAKE DURING PREGNANCY?
Answer – Because of the gentle nature of Fruit Lax formula, we feel that expectant mothers can use the product during their pregnancy. However, because of the senna leaves, which comprise the smallest component of the product, you should consult with your physician if you have any concerns at all.
2 - I’M INTERESTED IN TRYING FRUIT LAX, BUT HAVE ALLERGIES TO SOME NUTS SUCH AS WALNUTS, PECANS, PINE NUTS AND MACADAMIA NUTS. ALSO, I HAVE ALLERGIES TO OTHER THINGS SUCH AS JASMINE, RAGWEED AND POLLEN. DOES YOUR PRODUCT CONTAIN ANY OF THE ITEMS MENTIONED?
Answer – Fruit Lax contains a proprietary blend of blackstrap molasses, prunes, apple cider vinegar, figs, dates raisins, and senna leaves. Our manufacturing facility does produce other products that contain various forms of nuts, including the ones you’ve mentioned, but the machinery used to blend
our Fruit Lax is completely cleaned and sterilized prior to production, so there should not be a problem in terms of allergies.
3 – I AS LOOKING FOR A PRODUCT FOR CONSTIPATION AND RAN ACROSS
FRUIT LAX. I HAVE USED OTHER SUPPLEMENTS FOR NOW AND THEY SEEM TO BOTHER MY HEMORRHOIDS. MY DOCTOR SAYS I HAVE INTERNAL HEMORRHOIDS. I’VE HEARD YOUR
PRODUCT IS NOT HARSH SO IN YOUR OPINION, WOULD IT BE SAFE FOR ME TO TAKE
Answer – Absolutely! Fruit Lax has been used for many generations and by the founder of
Claire Johnson's Health Foods, Bob Rasmussen, for over 50 years, so I’d say yes, our product is not harsh. The harsh attributes of senna are mellowed significantly by the other ingredients in
Fruit Lax proprietary blend, which all work together to make the product effective and reliable for long term use.
4 – IS FRUIT LAX GLUTEN FREE?
Answer – The ingredients in our Fruit Lax are all gluten free. However, the product is manufactured in a facility that processes various types of nuts which should not present a problem for someone intolerant to gluten.
5 – MY NAME IS STACEY AND I AM LOOKING FOR AN ALL NATURAL WAY TO HELP OUR FIVE YEAR OLD AUTISTIC SON AND HIS TROUBLES WITH CONSTIPATION. THROUGH HIS PEDIATRICIAN, HE HAS TRIED SEVERAL LAXATIVES BUT THEY HAVE NOT HELPED. WE NEED TO KNOW IF
FRUIT LAX CAN BE USED ON CHILDREN, WHAT THE DOSAGE WOULD BE AND IF IT COULD BE DISGUISED IN FOOD, AS HE IS A VERY PICKY EATER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
Answer – I also have a son with autism who is now 26 years old, so I know the problems with dealing with this.
Fruit Lax will work great and I have suggested it to a lot of people with kids and have gotten good feedback. He if likes the taste of raisins, prunes and figs, then you can give it to him right from the spoon or it can easily mixed into a smoothie drink and it would work just as well. Good luck!
6 – IS YOUR PRODUCT SAFE TO USE ON A TODDLER?
Answer – In dealing with a toddler, we would lean on the side of caution and say that you should seek another alternative, like perhaps prune juice three times per day to stimulate the bowels. Fruit Lax does contain senna leaves as an ingredient which has laxative properties. The harsh tendencies attributed to senna are significantly reduced by the proprietary blend of the fruits, apple cider vinegar and blackstrap molasses in
